About Chouna Land

I am passionate about helping others and changing lives. My husband, Philip, and I have made it our mission to do just that by bringing Fit Body Boot Camp to Flowood, MS!

My story begins with a wake-up call I had several years ago, I was a stay-at-home mom with three children under 5 years old. My husband is an airline pilot and can be gone for weeks at a time, needless to say, I was feeling overwhelmed, alone, and uncertain of myself. I know I needed to make a change in my life!

After several conversations in my head, I made that first step and reached out to a local gym, a good friend offered to meet me at that gym the very next day, and my life was changed forever. I knew that weight was an issue but the mental clarity that came after each workout is what made me keep coming back, it wasn’t till the weight started melting off that I realized how negatively it impacted my life. By prioritizing my health I was able to regain my self-worth, be more patient with my kids, and have more energy to better serve my family.

After my life-changing transformation, it was clear that my path was laid out in front of me, and helping others have similar experiences was my calling. Becoming a trainer was one of the best decisions of my life, I loved working with people and helping them achieve their goals. I had no idea that my path would soon lead me to open up a Fitness studio of my very own, after many conversations with the Fit Body team I fell in love with the brand. With my passion and my husband’s entrepreneurial background, everything just fell into place.

Less than 6 months from our initial discussion I am humbled and so grateful to have the opportunity to impact so many more lives.
