About Madison Heard

Welcome everyone! My name is Madison Heard, owner of Northwest Arvada Fit Body Boot Camp. I have lived in Colorado my whole life, and first let me say that it is such a privilege to bring Fit Body Boot Camp to you all. Changing lives for the better is what drives me, excites me and in so many ways challenges me to grow, myself.

I have a great passion for health and fitness, but to tell you the truth it hasn’t always been there. I participated in sports since I was very young. You name it: track, volleyball, soccer and for a brief, agonizing time cross country! I was never in love with being active, it was just something to do. Fast forward to college, when I was given a choice to not participate in sports. I jumped at that opportunity, and slowly, overtime came to regret it. I became sedentary, sluggish in energy, and unbeknownst to me was coasting through life.

It wasn’t until I went on a hike with some friends, where I was gasping for air, sitting at every turn and eventually giving up, that I realized how far I had let my health slip away. I had put on a significant amount of weight, had terrible nutrition and gained a host of other problems. I was only 22 years old. I decided it was time for a change! I was desperate to get back to a place where I took care of my body. That is when I found kickboxing and I can honestly say that kickboxing saved my life. I met unforgettable coaches and even more inspiring people that forever changed my life.

A good two years later, I became an instructor myself. This gave my life purpose, because not only was I helping myself, but I was helping others.

There were hurdles along the way. Two years after I had become an instructor, my mother passed away in March of 2018. I tell you this because I thought my world was catastrophically over, but my mother taught me a great deal of things. She taught me resilience. She taught me perseverance and she taught me how to love others. Times were hard, but I never counted myself out of the fight. I focused on my health, nutrition, and being the best instructor that I knew how to be.

That is why I wanted to create a home away from home for everyone out there who has seen their share of doubt, and hopelessness. I am so proud to bring you Northwest Fit Body Boot Camp so that you may have a sense of community, a place where results happen, and place to become better than you ever imagined you could be. You will be pushed, celebrated, learn about nutrition, shed body fat, and gain lean muscle. You can do all of this while being accepted with open arms in a place that makes you proud of your accomplishments! I look forward to meeting you and growing with you on your fitness journey!
