About Junior Olivera

Hello. My name is Junior Olivera. I was born in Havana, Cuba. I came to the United States at the age of five in May of 1980. I grew up in two of America’s biggest cities: Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida, though I claim Miami as my hometown since I was raised there most of my adolescent years. I have been married for over 20 years and have two beautiful kids.

My passion for fitness started early in life. As a young boy growing up in Miami, I was always involved with athletics and sports. I mostly played football and basketball growing up and lifted weights in school. Fitness has been a big part of my life and is something that I am very passionate about.

After graduating high school in 1994, I joined the United States Army in April of 1995. I did this for many reasons, one of which being to serve the country that gave my family and me an opportunity to enjoy freedom and become whatever we wanted through hard work and sacrifice. I enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman. I quickly learned that this role required me to be physically fit and mentally strong. Fortunately, I was able to use my passion for fitness and to get into good shape, which helped me graduate basic and advanced training from Infantry school in Fort Benning, Georgia. Throughout my 22 years of faithful and honorable service in the Army, I had the opportunity to train and lead thousands of Soldiers in physical fitness, among many other skills. I also held many leadership positions including Infantry Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant. I will be officially retired from active duty on April 30th, 2017. During my time in the military, I deployed twice to Iraq in support of the war on terrorism.

I first became familiar with Bedros Keulian and his Fit Body Boot Camp brand back in 2014 when I was planning on retiring from the Army. I always had the desire to start my own business one day and figured that I should pursue my dreams and goals after Army life ended. I figured, “Why not channel my passion and experience in fitness to help others in my community?” So, after getting to know Fit Body Boot Camp and the success that many boot campers experience with the unstoppable fitness formula, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

On November 27, 2016, I took the plunge and became a Fit Body Boot Camp owner. I plan on helping those in my community reach their personal fitness goals in life as well as live healthier and happier lives through fitness and nutritional education.

We now bring you North Columbus Fit Body Boot Camp and will strive to provide you the same results as other Fit Body Boot Camps have provided around the world! We are a results driven fitness studio, and our trainers will push and motivate you to be proud of your abilities every time you come in! I am so thankful to have the opportunity to do what I love and love what I do. Our studio is for all fitness levels, and we want every member to feel as though they are a part of our family. We look forward to helping you in your fitness journey.
