About Cory Harbidge & Erin Gibbs

My name is Cory Harbidge and I grew up in a very active household with three younger brothers. We played a variety of sports, were active outdoors and were brought up in a household where we learned to foster a healthy, and sustainable lifestyle. Nutrition and physical activity have always played a vital role in my life, and I am passionate about sharing that with others, to have them experience all the benefits that coincide with leading an active and healthy lifestyle.

For 2.5 years, I managed the Cochrane Fit Body Boot Camp in Alberta, instructing group fitness classes and coaching hundreds of clients with nutritional advice. Being a coach allowed me to create a bond and a sense of community with my clients. It also allowed me to be a leader, a motivator, and a role model. I take great pride in watching my clients reach their goals, increase their fitness levels, and improve their physical and mental wellness.

I am very proud to say that I am a community award-winning Personal Trainer. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and am FBBC Personal Trainer certified. I have a Precision Nutrition certification, am a certified Fat Loss Coach, and am continually looking for educational opportunities to advance my knowledge of the fitness industry that I am so passionate about.

My name is Erin Gibbs and I am the co-owner of Coquitlam Fit Body Boot Camp. Growing up in Victoria, BC, I have always had a love of sports, the outdoors, and healthy living. I was a long-term client of Cochrane Fit Body Boot Camp, and this is where I met Cory. Between Cory’s experience as a Coach and my experience as a client, I can assure you, we will provide you with an experience that you will not find anywhere else!

For the last 10+ years, I have worked as a healthcare consultant in IT, and my passion for helping people has always driven me in this industry. However, over the last 2 years, my need to pursue a more physically demanding career (one that does not keep me tied to a computer desk) is what led me to explore opening our own Fit Body Boot Camp.

My love of exercise, passion for encouraging and challenging people to become better versions of themselves, and enthusiasm I will bring to the gym each and every day are my commitments to you as a client of Coquitlam Fit Body Boot Camp.

We have recently moved out to Vancouver from Calgary, Alberta, with the sole purpose of opening up our own Fit Body Boot Camp. When we are not at the gym, you will find us out exploring Vancouver, taking in local sporting events, finding new hiking trails, or testing out new restaurants. Our goal at Coquitlam Fit Body Boot Camp is to create an environment where friendship and a sense of community are fostered. Not only will we help our clients achieve their physical health goals, but we will aim to improve their mental health as well.
