Hi there! My name is Victor Kenneth Figueroa, and nothing defines me more than my passion for making a difference! Throughout my entire life, I’ve always had the opportunity to develop different hobbies and experience different things, which has led me to realize my desire to help others, whether it be physically or mentally.

When I was about 10, I was actively involved in sports and spent most of my time playing soccer. The idea of running and being out of breath made me feel like I was accomplishing something. During the same time period, I’d escape to the gym, where I secretly found my happiness. I loved seeing how much a little extra effort could improve my mindset, and I loved that people would go to the gym because they were trying to make a difference in their lives. That’s when I knew it: if I could improve someone’s self-confidence, it would feel really rewarding, especially if they eventually go on to discover that same love for change that I’ve found.

I had the amazing experience of going to college at an early age of 16 and getting a degree in statistics. Although mathematics is something that I am good at – I enjoy problem solving – I found myself well fit for things such as Martial Arts, Karate, Kung Fu, Boxing, and Kickboxing. Not only did these activities wear me out, but they gave me a sense of gratitude toward physical growth and dedication. I learned about self-defense and was able to carry what I had learned into my day-to-day life.

Aside from my hobbies, I also joined the Air Force when I was 20. This helped me get stronger and overcome my weaknesses. I was able to use my difficulties in life as fuel to motivate me to keep going through the struggles I faced. I’ve experienced many obstacles along my journey, yet I always seek the courage to keep moving forward.

I have had my fair share of ups and downs, and at one point even struggled to work out my normal five days a week, but slowly I got back into it. I began dieting, which is when I realized there is a lot more to it than just eating the right amount of meals! I researched more ways I could keep myself “fit”, yet came to the realization that the ingredients for fitness are dedication, patience, and positivity. I began following these steps, along with dieting and staying consistent with my goal – and it made a difference within myself. There is no greater feeling than making a change, so my goal is to bring a better and healthier lifestyle to everyone!

I am here not only to make a difference with Fit Body Boot Camp, but to also ensure that those who are looking to better themselves can do so, just like I had the chance to do. Our boot camp is filled with only equipment that will help you reach your specific goals. Everyone has different goals, and I am committed to making sure you achieve yours. I have come a long way, but I am beyond thankful to have the opportunity to do what I love and impact others at the same time!
