About Joel & Jarred Kotkas

We are Jarred and Joel Kotkas (brothers, in case you couldn’t tell).

What sets us apart is our drive to impact and change the lives of people around us. We have a deep desire to support individuals in bettering their fitness along with their physical, mental, and emotional health. Ultimately, we want to help them improve their lives and simultaneously live a life of purpose and passion.

This eagerness is what lead us to open Lethbridge Fit Body Boot Camp. We now bring the Fit Body experience to South East Calgary. We realized that by utilizing our nutrition and fitness skills and knowledge, we can make a huge impact on people’s lives.

Joel – After spending many years working in the corporate world, not only did I feel a void, but I would continuously watch as my colleagues’ health would decline as they sat at a desk, made poor food choices, worked long hours, and neglected their overall well-being. So, I set out in search of a different way of life, a lifestyle that would inspire, motivate, and improve people’s health. This “way” lead me (and my brother) to open Fit Body Boot Camp.

Jarred – Although I have always chased my dreams of helping people, I began on a similar path to Joel, following a “dream” I was not truly passionate about. After 4 years of post-secondary education at the University of Lethbridge, receiving an honours degree in Neuroscience, I realized that my pursuit of medicine/dentistry was not where my heart lay.

This became apparent to me when I recognized some of the flaws in the medical system. Rather than diagnosing and prescribing only after individuals became ill, I wanted to apply my passion and knowledge of nutrition and fitness to prevent the onset of chronic disease.

We now bring you Auburn Bay Fit Body Boot Camp, and we will strive to provide you with the same results and experiences that our members have achieved in Lethbridge. Together, we have helped hundreds of people lose thousands of pounds as they increased their strength, burned fat, improved their confidence, and became the healthiest versions of themselves possible.

We are a results driven fitness studio, and our trainers will push and motivate you to be proud of your abilities every time you come in! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to do what we love and love what we do. Our studio is for all fitness levels, and we want every member to feel as though they are a part of our family. We look forward to helping you in your fitness journey.
