About Shawn K.

Hey everyone! I am Shawn K. and I am excited to get started on your fitness journey with you. I am an ACE certified personal trainer as well as a certified group fitness trainer. My goal is to help as many people as I can get fit and feel better about themselves.

Growing up, I was a chubby kid. I was active in sports, but made poor choices when it came to eating. I was a “picky eater” meaning if it was healthy, I wouldn’t eat it. When I was 21 years old, I was about 30 pounds overweight and I wasn’t enjoying life. My mom suggested I see a nutritionist. It was amazing how much the weight started coming off just from changing my eating habits!

I started working out and my life changed even more. My confidence came back and I enjoyed being active again. Now I love working out, playing lots of sports, and helping others get their lives back. I don’t want anyone to struggle alone like I did.

I have gone to a few different gyms in the area and tried boot camp, but none of them compare to the workouts you get at a Fit Body Boot Camp. I am the type that gets bored easily and needs someone to push me and I found that at FBBC. I knew that FBBC was the perfect fit for me.
