I love working out! I was a former college athlete at the University of Wisconsin and have always been involved with sports and the training that goes with it. When I graduated from college, I did what most college athletes do………I got a job! I was in the corporate world for 18 years and, by most people’s standards, I was pretty successful. Early on in my career it was fun, and then it became not fun.
As I contemplated what I wanted to do with my career, I kept coming back to training and helping people. I have always loved training and had transformed myself. After college I kept working out, but my workouts were centered around just lifting weights. I did nothing else. My idea of post workout nutrition was going to the bar, having 5-6 beers, pizza, cheeseburgers, wings, whatever was at the bar that night. Not only did I put in 40 pounds but I was diagnosed with high blood pressure when I was in my mid-to-late 20’s. I was thinking “I am too young for this!”. But it was the result of eating a lot of crap over the years.
I wish I could tell you that I just snapped my fingers and everything fixed itself, but it takes time to turn the ship around, especially with regards to nutrition. I built better habits around working out and nutrition. Over time, I got myself back into great shape. I am in as good, if not better, shape now in my mid forties as I was back in college. Now I wear the same size clothes I did back then.
Through Fit Body Boot Camp, we provide personal training in a group setting. We modify our exercises to be either easier or harder, depending on your fitness level. Our coaches will work with you to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly with the proper form and appropriate weight. We work with ANY fitness level, and our coaches are great at encouraging, motivating and inspiring members to do their best. People do things here they never thought possible, and you will too.
Through my Las Vegas Fit Body Boot Camp – The Lakes location, we have helped thousands of people with their fat loss and fitness goals. With the February 2017 opening of Las Vegas Fit Body Boot Camp – Northwest, I am excited to help and reach even more people in the Las Vegas valley. We have two main focuses for our clients: results and relationships. In regards to results, most people don’t work out just for the heck of it; you want to get something out of it, right? We help you do that. And in terms of relationships, we are one Fit Body Family. People truly enjoy coming here and the relationships they build with fellow members and staff.
