About Serene Prinyavivatkul

Hi! My name is Serene Prinyavivatkul, and I’m excited to have an opportunity to help others each and every day. For the majority of my life, I have served people. My background is in hospitality. I know what true customer service is. I’ve been in the health care field for the last twelve years working in orthopedics and sports medicine. My passion is to improve peoples’ lives to the best of my ability. My journey in fitness started in my early twenties. I didn’t grow up playing organized sports and I wasn’t very athletic. But in my early twenties many of my friends were hitting the gym regularly. I started by hiring a personal trainer. I truly loved the feeling of exertion and accomplishment after each workout. This became a part of my life. I believe that working out helped me build a strong body and an even stronger mind. I received my personal trainer certification and started coaching group training sessions. It was all worth it to see people transform and become more confident with each workout.

My partner in this journey is Rickman Del Taylor. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1987 and retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 2013 as Chief Warrant Office Four. During his 26 year career as CWO-4, he served in numerous assignments and leadership positions, including combat tours in Desert Shield/Storm 1990-91, Operation Iraqi Freedom I 2003, and Operation Iraqi Freedom III 2005. His awards include the Bronze Star, the Navy Achievement Medal with gold star, the Combat Action Ribbon with two gold stars, the Gold Medal of Distinguished Service (El Salvador), and the Navy/Marine Corps Parachutist Wings.

Rickman was hired to the West Palm Beach Fire Department in 1996 and was promoted through the ranks to his current position of Division Chief of Training and Safety. He has served as Rescue Company Officer, Engine Company Officer, Truck Company Officer, and shift commander. Additional assignments include serving in hazardous material, special operations, and thirteen years as a SWAT medic.

Rickman’s passion for fitness started while he was still in high school. He played football and baseball. He has always enjoyed weight training and still does it every morning before work at 4:30 AM, and he’ll continue to do so as long as his body allows him to. He wants to see people succeed and live the best lives they can live.
